[ZAPhil] 5th South African Philosophy of Science and Logic Colloquium 15 January 2017 – Provisional Programme and Practical Information

Dear Colleagues
Please find attached the provisional programme for the colloquium on 15 January (the day before the PSSA commences): link to programme
The venue is Eden Grove, Seminar Room 2 on the main Rhodes University Campus.
Everyone is welcome to attend but please RSVP with me within the next two weeks if you are going to attend as there will be tea and coffee and a snack in the morning and afternoon, and water, and I have to know numbers to organise those. Please note that lunch is for everybody’s own account – a walk into town will take a few minutes from the venue.
I look forward to this colloquium for many reasons and hope you will enjoy it. As usual some talks are finished research (as much as something like that exists), some are ongoing research in the sense of being in the thinking out loud stage, and we have one contribution from a graduate student which makes me happy. We also have one poster presentation.
And, most importantly, we have a very interesting and high profile keynote speaker jointly from Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and Harvard.
All best wishes
Emma
